“People may end up homeless from all walks of life and for all kind of reasons. They often suffer a lack of access to hygiene that may easily result in social, medical, and dental health problems. Giving back to society is very important to our company and also to our team,” says Naomi Pleasants, Marketing Manager of BioHorizons Camlog in the United Kingdom. “I therefore thank the whole team for their spontaneous engagement and above all our Logistics Support Operative, Diane Hopkins, who spearheaded this project to ensure we could support the local homeless and disadvantaged fellow citizens.”
BioHorizons Camlog is part of Henry Schein’s Global Dental Surgical Group offering dental professionals an exclusive and comprehensive portfolio of innovative surgical and regenerative products, and digital solutions for oral reconstruction.
This donation is an initiative of Henry Schein Cares, the company’s global corporate social responsibility programme. Henry Schein Cares focus on three main areas: advancing wellness, building capacity in the delivery of health care services, and assisting in emergency preparedness and relief. The programme stands on four pillars: engaging Team Schein Members to reach their potential, ensuring accountability by extending ethical business practices to all levels within Henry Schein, promoting environmental sustainability, and expanding access to health care for underserved and at-risk communities around the world.
