We found out only a couple of months ago that we had won the award. It is a fantastic reward for our team and laboratory which has been running for over 100 years. Custom made patient specific implants are still very much in their infancy and it has taken 15 years to get this far. We are hoping that winning the Queen’s Award for our innovation on this new technology will fast track its progress into common and accepted medical practice in Britain and worldwide.
