The event, which will be held at Sandy Park Conference Centre, Exeter, on 21st and 22nd June, features a packed programme of interest and value to all members of the dental team – with a full day’s programme tailored to dental technicians on the Saturday.
Event director, Chris Ritchie, explains that DenTeam is “about the entire dental team learning together, and from each other”. One example of this will come from lab owner Andrew Taylor, who is taking an updated version of his popular presentation to Exeter, covering many simple, but often overlooked, reasons why fixed prosthodontics go wrong.
“Sometimes it’s the impression, but there are many things that can happen with any of the stages of production,” he says. “I have tips and techniques that provide checks and solutions based on 40-several years’ experience.
“Technicians can learn how to avoid these pitfalls that can result in losing valuable contracts, while dentists can learn how they can help mitigate errors with impressions and how to spot the thinking processes of the labs they use and identify a good one.”
